Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Engineer to drive the development and programming of customized control software for cutting-edge, high-tech production machinery at PAPIER-METTLER, a leading international packaging company. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing tailored control systems (e.g., B&R, Omron), writing corresponding programs, commissioning new production plants, performing functional tests, and conducting detailed error analysis and troubleshooting. The engineer will collaborate closely with the programming, electrical, and mechanical teams. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (or Mechanical Engineering with a strong interest in programming) and possess experience in Structured Text programming, ideally with knowledge of C++, B&R, or Omron controls.
