This role is for a Geotechnical and Soil Investigation Specialist responsible for executing surveys and sampling across various construction sites, primarily focusing on North Rhine-Westphalia after initial training. Key daily tasks include performing geotechnical soundings, collecting soil and groundwater samples, creating detailed layer directories (Schichtenverzeichnisse), conducting minor surveying work, and comprehensive site documentation, including control tests and infiltration attempts. Successful candidates must have formal training as a Building Materials Tester, an environmental/geoscientific degree, or relevant experience (cross-entry candidates like construction technicians are welcome). Requirements include B2 level German proficiency, a Class B driver's license, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Driving experience required for field work
  • Experience in independent site management (required after initial training period)

  • Class B driver's license and driving experience required. Willingness to undergo intensive initial training at the Ludwigshafen/Rhein location before deployment in North Rhine-Westphalia. Nationwide travel may be required.
