Job Summary

This role requires an experienced PLC Automation Engineer to take technical responsibility for specific sub-projects within the plant and special machine construction sector. Day-to-day duties involve conceptual design, software development, and both online and offline programming utilizing platforms such as Siemens Sinumerik, TIA Portal, S7, and B&R. The engineer will be responsible for detailed technical elaboration, performing necessary calculations and simulations (e.g., cycle time analysis, drive systems), and managing requirements engineering for internal teams and external service providers. A key aspect of the position is the commissioning of systems both in-house and internationally at customer sites, which necessitates an average travel commitment of 25%. Candidates must possess a completed technical education in fields like Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, coupled with several years of relevant PLC programming experience. Strong problem-solving skills, goal orientation, and good English proficiency are crucial for success in this challenging and rewarding role.
