Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Automation Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of automation systems within special-purpose machinery. Day-to-day tasks involve the programming and commissioning of various components, including controllers, drive systems, bus systems (such as ProfiBus, ProfiNet, and Ethercat), and visualization interfaces. A core focus is on developing robust control concepts and drive solutions, as well as programming fail-safe controllers and selecting critical safety components to ensure operator and system security. The position requires conducting commissioning of drives, frequency converters, and server controllers, often necessitating complete system startups abroad. Candidates must have successfully completed vocational training as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician, followed by certification as a Technician. Initial professional experience in commissioning special machinery is required, along with mandatory written and spoken English skills and a willingness to travel internationally.
