Job Summary

This critical role as a Quality Inspector in Lichtenwald involves ensuring the highest standards of product quality and documentation compliance. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and assessing testing and manufacturing documents for completeness, plausibility, and conformity to relevant standards, including DIN and VDA norms. A key part of the role is conducting initial sample inspections (Erstbemusterungen), comparing results against manufacturer specifications, and creating detailed inspection reports (OK/not OK/required follow-up). You must be adept at assessing deviations, requesting missing evidence, and ultimately providing recommendations for product release or rejection. The ideal candidate possesses a completed technical qualification, coupled with 2 years of experience as a Material Tester or 3–5 years as a Materials Scientist. Success requires strong PC proficiency, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes like welding and material processing.
