Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced HMI Engineer to join the team in Erlangen, focusing on high-voltage direct current (HVDC) control technology projects. The engineer will act as the Project Engineer for the central Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems, handling the entire lifecycle from specification and manual creation to HMI software project planning using tools like Copa Data Zenon. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating concepts, functions, and visualizations with internal interfaces, customers, and suppliers. A critical component of the role involves system integration, ensuring error-free configuration, and commissioning HMI components within test environments. The engineer is also responsible for supporting acceptance tests and providing technical assistance during commissioning phases. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering and possess proven professional experience in HMI system project planning, complex team environments, and process/signal data processing. Fluency in both German and English is required for effective communication in this technically demanding environment.
