This specialist role is crucial for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge Shopfloor Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutions across international manufacturing sites. Day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as the lead for reporting and AI applications, identifying high-impact use cases such as Predictive Maintenance and visual quality inspection, and coordinating the entire data lifecycle from Shopfloor/MES systems to analytics platforms. The specialist will deploy modern AI techniques, including Natural Language Processing (NLP) for root-cause analysis and intelligent chatbots for maintenance and troubleshooting. Success requires a relevant degree in Computer Science or Engineering, practical experience with production systems (MES, SCADA, PLC), and demonstrable project management expertise in cross-functional, international settings.
