Job Summary

This role is crucial for establishing a central Competence Center focused on the data-driven optimization of operational planning and scheduling within TÜV SÜD. The specialist will conceptualize and develop complex Data Science and optimization solutions, leveraging mathematical optimization procedures, Machine Learning algorithms (like forecasting models), and Artificial Intelligence to enhance task and route planning, as well as staff deployment scheduling. Day-to-day work involves implementing concrete use cases, preparing and visualizing results, deriving practical recommendations, and presenting analytical insights to stakeholders. The position requires close collaboration within agile, interdisciplinary teams and strategic involvement in the end-to-end implementation and scaling of new solutions, ensuring high impact across diverse business areas like Automotive and Medical Technology.
