Job Summary

This Full-Stack Developer role offers a unique opportunity to actively shape the energy transition (Energiewende) by developing the central Information Platform of Energy Networks (iPEN) for a leading regional energy service provider. The core mission involves building and maintaining a scalable Microservice architecture within Kubernetes, developing robust APIs, and managing (Geo-)databases to centralize and process vast amounts of media data, including satellite, drone, and point cloud information. Day-to-day tasks include integrating Microsoft Azure cloud resources, implementing automated deployment via GitLab CI/CD, and collaborating with UX/UI designers to create intuitive 2D/3D frontend applications using React and TypeScript. Successful candidates must hold a degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science or Data Science) and possess proven professional experience in agile software development, REST-API creation, and utilizing Test-Driven Development (TDD) with Python to ensure high software quality. Fluency in German and proficiency in English are required for internal and project communication.
