Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Electrical Engineering Technician or Master Electrician passionate about the operation and maintenance of high-voltage power grids, specifically substations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure operation and digitalization of MITNETZ STROM’s electrical networks, the largest regional distribution grid operator in East Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical guidance to assigned staff, organizing operational workflows, and managing maintenance and construction measures for substations. The technician will prepare for and accompany the commissioning and acceptance of new grid installations, acting as a vital link between planning, project management, and operational implementation. Key requirements include a completed Master Electrician or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, ideally with professional experience in the power grid sector and existing 110 kV switching authorization.
