Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Engineer dedicated to shaping the future of electricity and gas distribution networks within East Germany's largest regional operator. The position, temporary until mid-2027, focuses on developing strategic foundations for network transformation, emphasizing sustainability, digitalization, and innovation. Daily tasks involve creating long-term concepts for network maintenance and evolution, analyzing infrastructure condition data to derive concrete recommendations, and evaluating emerging technologies, including the potential of Hydrogen and Digital Twins. The successful candidate will contribute expertise to national and European development projects, continuously improve internal processes and tools, and thrive in interdisciplinary teams. Key requirements include a relevant technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering) and initial professional experience in network planning or operation.
