Job Summary

This critical role focuses on the continuous development and maintenance of the network control system and network security management to ensure the stability and future viability of the electrical and gas distribution grids. The engineer will be responsible for central control technology, coordinating operations at data concentrator sites, and meticulously maintaining data models through image and data management, including bit tests, to ensure precision and accuracy. A major component of the job involves actively participating in projects focused on the digitalization and automation of grid operations, analyzing and optimizing network processes, and managing technical interfaces. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field, ideally bringing professional experience in grid calculation, modeling, and control technology. This position is vital for adapting the network to future energy requirements and regulatory mandates (EEG, EnWG, NABEG 2.0).
