Job Summary

This role as an R&D Laboratory Technician focuses on the formulation and development of high-quality cosmetic products, specifically within the suncare category, for a leading European consumer goods manufacturer. The core responsibilities include the hands-on creation and development of cosmetic formulations in a laboratory setting, preparing various product samples (customer, test, and reference samples), and conducting rigorous stability and internal performance tests. The technician will be responsible for detailed documentation of recipes and development processes using required IT programs. A key part of the job involves supporting the transition of new formulations into mass production by assisting with scale-up and initial production runs, including necessary testing and quality control measures. The ideal candidate holds a scientific vocational qualification or comparable degree, possesses strong coordination and communication skills, and ideally has prior experience in developing sun protection or general cosmetic products. Proficiency in MS Office and good written and spoken English skills are required to succeed in this dynamic, team-oriented environment dedicated to delivering top-tier consumer products.
