Job Summary

This specialized role seeks a Project Engineer focused on High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control Systems for a long-term assignment with Siemens Energy. The core responsibilities involve developing and maintaining technical specifications, HMI concepts, and graphical user interface requirements. You will be responsible for the project planning of HMI software, specifically utilizing Copa Data Zenon, and defining visualizations for plant components and operating parameters. A key part of the role involves integrating and validating HMI components in test setups, ensuring flawless configuration, and technically supporting acceptance tests and commissioning processes. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, coupled with fundamental experience in HMI system project planning and practical knowledge of control system protocols such as IEC 61850. Strong communication skills in both German and English are mandatory for effective collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers in complex project environments.
