Job Summary

This role is situated within Testo bioAnalytics, an innovative start-up transitioning into the production phase of high-tech systems for measuring microbiological parameters. The successful candidate, a Biochemist or Molecular Biologist, will be crucial in strengthening the lab team by actively developing innovative molecular biological assays and ensuring their successful transfer onto automated sample carriers. Daily tasks involve designing and reviewing sample carrier structures, conducting essential stability studies for experimental reagents, and continuously advancing existing platform technologies. A major focus of the position is interdisciplinary collaboration, requiring close exchange with colleagues specializing in chemistry, microfluidics, and data analysis to solve complex problems. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. and at least two years of post-doctoral or professional experience, coupled with a strong mechanistic understanding of biochemical reactions necessary for effective assay design.
