Job Summary
This role involves critical administrative work within the Social Welfare, Youth, and Family Office, focusing on implementing the Federal Participation Act in Lower Saxony. The Administrative Officer will primarily manage billing, controlling, and database functions for social assistance and integration aid. Key day-to-day tasks include conducting occupancy surveys, handling inquiries related to the specialized TOPqw system, and driving digitalization projects through data collection and analysis. A core function is negotiating service agreements with providers to ensure economic and high-quality care for people with disabilities, actively promoting their inclusion in society. Candidates must possess a background in administrative science, business administration, economics, or law, demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, along with a high degree of flexibility and readiness to engage with diverse topics.
Required Skills
Education
Required: University degree in Administrative Science (e.g., Public Administration), Business Administration (BA, Diploma), Economics (BA, Diploma), or Law (First State Examination, Bachelor of Laws in Social or Economic Law), OR successful completion of the Administrative Examination II.
Experience
- Professional experience in applying business management knowledge or financial steering instruments (advantageous)
- Professional experience in recognizing cross-sectional issues and adapting to changing topics and tasks (advantageous)
