Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Administration Central Group at the Rural Area Service Center (DLR Rheinpfalz) by managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure. The specialist will be responsible for setting up and maintaining PC workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices, including hardware installation and software deployment (operating systems, Office, mail, etc.), alongside troubleshooting technical issues. Key tasks also include providing technical support for events, managing IT inventory, handling IT consumables, and advising departments on IT matters. The ideal candidate will have a completed IT specialist qualification or comparable experience, demonstrating independent, results-oriented work, high flexibility, and strong teamwork skills.
