Job Summary

This role involves supporting innovation and cutting-edge research within a leading international life science company in Penzberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational production of cell banks and seed cultures in a cleanroom environment, involving the cultivation of pro- and eukaryotic cells in shake flasks and up to 20L fermentation scale. Key daily tasks include harvesting, filling, and freezing cells, preparing cell culture media up to 500 liters, and ensuring strict GMP-compliant documentation, often using electronic systems. The position also requires maintaining equipment, supporting quality assurance activities like deviation management and change procedures, and performing troubleshooting and experimental setups. Ideal candidates should possess a natural science background, experience in laboratory or production settings, and familiarity with working in a sterile environment and adhering to GMP guidelines.
