Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Software Component Developer to join a team in Munich Allach, focusing on cutting-edge vehicle simulation technology. The core responsibility involves developing and enhancing software components that realistically model vehicles interacting within a virtual environment. Day-to-day tasks include replicating vehicle characteristics, integrating software with engine and vehicle development teams, documenting code, and ensuring system stability through rigorous testing. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable natural science field, deep knowledge of object-oriented software technology, and proven experience developing commercial software for Windows and Linux. Proficiency in C++ application development, particularly with Qt, STL, and Multithreading, is essential. Experience with distributed systems, 3D engines like Unreal or Unity, and knowledge of military land vehicle training simulation are highly desirable qualifications for this unique opportunity, which is initially offered as a fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent takeover by the client.
