Job Summary

This Technical Project Assistant role, based in Erlangen for Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, provides crucial support to project management, focusing heavily on technical documentation compliance, procurement, and logistics. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating technical documentation according to internal guidelines and military secrecy requirements, managing communication across internal and external interfaces, and executing the full technical ordering cycle. This involves clarifying material needs, selecting and setting up suitable suppliers, initiating material setups in SAP, maintaining bills of materials, and obtaining and evaluating quotes, especially for spare parts, including necessary export data checks. The assistant will track orders through internal systems, manage delivery follow-up, and handle discrepancy resolution. Furthermore, the role requires on-site material and quality management, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and organizing shipping processes. The ideal candidate possesses a technical vocational background, multi-year experience in procurement/logistics within a project environment, and strong proficiency in SAP R/3 (MM) and MS Office, coupled with fluent German and good English skills.
