Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated Development Design Engineer in Munich responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of mechanical components and assemblies. Key responsibilities include leading new developments, executing comprehensive modifications, and technically evaluating design drafts with a focus on manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. The engineer will plan, conduct, and analyze experimental investigations and manage projects from initial development through to series production readiness. Success in this position requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical certification, coupled with professional experience in mechanical design and assembly construction. Proficiency in documentation, product simulation, and specific CAD/PDM systems (like Inventor and Vault) is essential. The ideal candidate possesses a high degree of technical understanding, process knowledge, and excellent communication skills, supported by strong German (C2) and functional English (B1) language abilities.
