Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer within the Building and Safety Management Department of Bergische Universität Wuppertal. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing all phases (1-9) of technical system and network projects, from planning to execution, focusing on data and electrical engineering for both new constructions and renovations. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing medium and low voltage systems, power generation, IT/telephony networks, and various electrical installations for laboratories, lecture halls, and offices. The position also involves establishing an energy management system. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical engineering, practical experience with relevant regulations (VOB, HOAI), and proficiency in common IT tools. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the university's infrastructure development.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (TU or FH) in Electrical Engineering or comparable fields

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience and knowledge with VOB and HOAI is desirable
  • Experience with planning, execution, and operation of electrical systems (HOAI phases 1-9)
  • Practical experience in network switching or acquisition of switching authorization
  • Experience in defect and supplementary claim management
  • Experience with planning, execution, and operation of CAFM systems and building management systems is desirable
  • Experience in energy management is desirable
