Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Engineer specializing in rocket propellants, supporting the Ariane Group as a preferred supplier in Lampoldshausen. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive project management, steering content implementation, and developing novel chemical processes for analyzing materials used in spaceflight. Key tasks involve organizing and conducting detailed analyses of space propellants, such as Non-Volatile Residue (NVR) testing and storage investigations. The engineer is also responsible for creating and evaluating project-specific documentation (Acceptance Data Package - ADP), ensuring lab safety by reviewing risk assessments and coordinating waste management with HSE. Furthermore, the role requires managing the maintenance of laboratory equipment and supporting the Head of Department in drafting project proposals and procurement of necessary chemicals.
