Job Summary

Join GF Piping Systems, a global leader in flow solutions and a pioneer in sustainable innovation, as a Service Technician specializing in highly specialized welding machines for plastic piping systems. In this critical role based in Schaffhausen, you will ensure the flawless function and availability of these machines, which are central to customer success worldwide. Your daily responsibilities will include the assembly of new machines and accessories, performing complex mechanical and electrical service, maintenance, and repair work. You will be responsible for efficient fault diagnosis and problem resolution. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the development and introduction of new machine models and conduct technical training sessions for international customers and partners, involving approximately 10% travel. Candidates must possess a technical vocational qualification, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanics, coupled with 3-5 years of professional experience in technical service, maintenance, or plant construction. Strong technical comprehension, customer orientation, and excellent communication skills in both German and English are essential for collaborating effectively with internal teams and international stakeholders.
