Job Summary
The Controlling and Budget Specialist will join the Building Contracting department within the Office for Economy and Real Estate in Mainz. This role is crucial for managing financial flows from the city budget for investment measures, particularly in schools and daycare centers, on behalf of Gebäudewirtschaft Mainz. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling cross-budgetary affairs, such as budget planning, monitoring, and execution, as well as controlling investment projects and reporting for building construction measures. The specialist will also manage ongoing funds for building projects and assist with annual financial statements. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Economics or Business Administration, or a university degree with a sufficient business administration component; OR completed Administrative Course II; OR completed training as an Administrative Assistant or Administrative Course I with willingness to complete Administrative Course II; OR completed three-year commercial training with willingness to complete Administrative Courses I and II.
