This Requirements Engineer role involves acting as a crucial translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, shaping software solutions from initial concept through live operation. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing complex business processes, translating departmental needs into clear, actionable specifications, and meticulously documenting and prioritizing requirements using formats like Epics, User Stories, and Use Cases. The engineer will model workflows and system contexts using standards such as BPMN and UML, moderate workshops, and collaborate closely with Developers and UX Designers to ensure a unified vision. Key qualifications include a degree or relevant professional experience in fields like Business Informatics or Computer Science, proven experience in requirements analysis and modeling, and the ability to structure and communicate complex information effectively. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and REST-APIs is beneficial.
