Job Summary

This critical role involves the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of the core Atlassian platform, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management Cloud. The engineer is responsible for planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and complex integrations with existing enterprise landscapes such as SAP and Atlassian Crowd. Day-to-day tasks include configuring detailed system components like permissions, project schemas, workflows, and process models, alongside evaluating and managing Marketplace applications such as ScriptRunner and BigPicture. The ideal candidate must possess a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or an equivalent qualification, coupled with several years of hands-on experience administering these specific Atlassian tools. Strong technical knowledge of Linux servers, scripting (Groovy, Bash, Python), and web technologies is essential to succeed in this position, which offers an unlimited contract within a major international engineering group.
