Metrology Technician | Messtechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role requires a skilled Metrology Technician to take responsibility for planning and programming complex measurement routines, utilizing CAD models and technical drawings. Key daily tasks involve programming measurement systems, such as Zeiss CALYPSO, to test manufactured assemblies against strict specifications and conducting detailed measurements of surfaces and hardness. The technician is also responsible for generating comprehensive measurement reports and performing statistical evaluations for product testing. Success in this position requires a completed technical qualification (Technician or Master Craftsman level), several years of professional experience in metrology, and expertise in coordinating measurement strategies across internal teams, customers, and suppliers. The position offers an opportunity to work autonomously on responsible tasks within a major international engineering group, requiring fluent proficiency in both German and English.
