Job Summary
This role involves providing essential 2nd level IT support within a complex hospital environment, primarily at the Merheim location in Cologne, Germany. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing and resolving IT incidents and service requests from users, many of whom are in the medical field. Key tasks include on-site, service desk, and remote support, along with the maintenance and installation of end-user devices (computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices) and software, including specialized medical applications. The position requires close collaboration with the IT hotline/helpdesk team to ensure timely and effective problem resolution, contributing significantly to user satisfaction in a dynamic healthcare setting.
