This role involves providing essential electrical and technical support for critical IT infrastructure within the North Rhine-Westphalia State Tax Administration, focusing heavily on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. Day-to-day tasks include participating in the electrical planning, acceptance, and ongoing control of UPS systems and local networks, conducting regular electrical safety inspections (DGUV-V3), analyzing and resolving technical faults in collaboration with specialist departments, and processing service requests. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent professional experience in Electrical Engineering or related fields and possesses multi-year practical experience in areas like power engineering or electronic device technology. Education

University of Applied Sciences, Bachelor's, or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications/relevant professional experience

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in at least two of the following areas: Power Engineering, Automation Technology, Communications Technology, Electronic Device Technology, Electrical Measurement and Control Technology, Technical Informatics, Theoretical Electrical Engineering, or Working Under Voltage on Electrical Systems (AuS)
  • Professional experience in Windows Server (Desirable)
  • Professional experience in Linux Server (Desirable)
  • Professional experience with Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMware) (Desirable)
  • Professional experience in User Support (Desirable)
  • Experience working in agile teams (Desirable)
