Job Summary
This role involves providing specialized electrical support for critical IT infrastructure, primarily focusing on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems within the North Rhine-Westphalia State Tax Administration. The specialist will be responsible for participating in the electrical planning, acceptance, and continuous inspection of UPS and local network systems. Key day-to-day duties include maintaining deployed UPS units, performing regular electrical safety checks (DGUV-V3), troubleshooting technical faults in collaboration with specialist departments, and processing service requests. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational experience and possesses multi-year practical experience in areas like energy technology or automation. This position offers a secure, full-time contract within the public sector, flexible working hours, and is based organizationally in Marl, covering parts of the Münsterland/Ruhrgebiet/Sauerland/Siegerland regions.
Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences, Bachelor's, or Diploma degree related to Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skills and relevant professional experience (Master Craftsman/Meisterschule equivalent)
Experience
- Multi-year practical experience in at least two of the following areas: Energy Technology, Automation Technology, Communication Technology, Electronic Device Technology, Electrical Measurement and Control Technology, Technical Informatics, Theoretical Electrical Engineering, or Working Under Voltage on Electrical Systems (AuS)
- Professional experience in Windows Server (Advantageous)
- Professional experience in Linux Server (Advantageous)
- Professional experience in Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMware) (Advantageous)
- Professional experience in User Support (Advantageous)
