Job Summary

The North Rhine-Westphalia State Tax Administration is seeking a dedicated Technical Officer to manage the electrical support of critical IT infrastructure, focusing primarily on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across the Münsterland, Ruhrgebiet, Sauerland, and Siegerland regions. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in the electrical planning, acceptance, and continuous inspection of UPS systems and local networks, conducting regular DGUV-V3 electrical safety inspections, and analyzing and resolving technical faults in collaboration with specialized departments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience, possesses multi-year practical experience in areas like energy technology or electrical measurement, and is familiar with IT support tasks, potentially including Windows/Linux servers and virtualization.
