Job Summary

This role involves supporting the electrical infrastructure of IT systems for the North Rhine-Westphalia State Tax Administration, focusing heavily on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical planning, acceptance, and continuous monitoring of UPS units and local networks across parts of the Münsterland, Ruhrgebiet, Sauerland, and Siegerland regions. Day-to-day tasks include performing regular electrical safety checks (DGUV-V3), analyzing and resolving technical faults in collaboration with specialist departments, and processing service inquiries. This position requires a background in electrical engineering and practical experience in areas like energy or automation technology, offering a secure, full-time public sector job with flexible working hours and comprehensive training.

Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences, Bachelor's, or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and relevant professional experience

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience (multi-year) in at least two of the following areas: Energy Technology, Automation Technology, Communication Technology, Electronic Device Technology, Electrical Measurement and Control Technology, Technical Informatics, Theoretical Electrical Engineering, or Live Working on Electrical Systems (AuS)
  • Professional experience in electrical planning, acceptance, and continuous monitoring of UPS systems and local networks
  • Experience working in agile teams (Desirable)
