Job Summary

This role involves the development and implementation of sophisticated control and automation software for high-quality machinery used in coating gravure cylinders, positioning the company as a market leader in prepress production lines. The developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and testing PLC programs using platforms such as TIA Portal, STEP 7, CoDeSys, or TwinCAT. Key responsibilities also include the integration of HMI/SCADA systems, comprehensive software documentation, and performing commissioning, error analysis, and optimization both remotely and on-site. Candidates must possess a degree or vocational training in automation technology, electrical engineering, or computer science, coupled with profound knowledge of PLC programming and commissioning experience. The position requires strong analytical skills, fluent German, and basic English proficiency.
