Job Summary

This role is crucial for driving the energy and mobility transition in Augsburg by focusing on complex electrical power infrastructure projects. The Network Planning Engineer will be responsible for calculating and planning low and medium voltage power grids, including managing cable construction projects and developing strategic network concepts for both new developments and existing infrastructure. Day-to-day activities involve designing network connection concepts, performing essential switching operations, and participating in the power supply on-call duty outside of regular hours. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering, several years of professional experience in plant construction, and excellent command of technical standards (IEC, DIN, VDE). Proficiency in specialized software like RIWA-GIS, SAP, and AutoCAD is essential, alongside strong communication and negotiation skills needed for dealing with internal and external partners.
