Job Summary

This role involves taking steering responsibility for the technical operations of an outsourced SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solution within a major European bank IT service provider. The SAP Basis Coordinator will primarily manage and coordinate external service providers, ensuring the technical operation of the SAP HCM system landscape. Key responsibilities include overseeing core SAP Basis components such as interfaces, job control, transport management, and user administration. You will coordinate changes, releases, patches, and system updates, and actively participate in IT projects, often taking on project-specific technical roles. A core focus is managing involved service providers and ensuring quality assurance aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Candidates must possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent knowledge, coupled with at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in SAP Basis administration involving SAP HCM and HANA databases. Excellent communication and a solution-oriented mindset are crucial for interacting with internal customers and partners.
