Job Summary

This role involves driving exciting development projects from the initial concept phase through to successful series production. The Design Engineer will be responsible for setting up, testing, and validating prototype and trial arrangements within a laboratory environment. Key day-to-day tasks include developing innovative proposals, assessing their feasibility and benefit, and actively participating in the maintenance, further development, and cost optimization of existing products. A crucial element of the position is independent troubleshooting, escalating issues, and formulating effective solutions, requiring close collaboration with product development and product management departments. The ideal candidate must possess a strong engineering background, either through a degree or technical training combined with a technician qualification, and demonstrate solid, practical experience using Solid Edge.
