Job Summary

This critical role involves acting as an IT Security Consultant, leveraging extensive expertise to safeguard client infrastructure in an ever-evolving digital landscape. The specialist will be responsible for the evaluation, selection, and implementation of modern IT security tools and solutions to ensure the sustainable protection of hosting infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include conducting and analyzing vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to proactively identify risks and define countermeasures. The role requires close collaboration with the Security Operations Center (SOC) for incident response management and advising IT project teams on implementing security requirements compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards like ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz. Success requires strong communication skills, deep knowledge of security technologies, and a proactive approach to monitoring and mitigating current cybersecurity threats.
