Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role as a Wastewater Construction Manager involves overseeing the execution and management of construction contracts within the water and wastewater sectors for a municipal utility company. Key responsibilities include coordinating a dedicated four-person sewer team, ensuring adherence to quality standards, managing project costs and timelines, and handling all contractual correspondence and negotiations, including supplementary services. The role requires leading external engineering consultants, managing the tender and award process, and performing site supervision, acceptance, and billing checks. You will also be responsible for recording utility data using GPS surveying and documenting it within the GIS system. Candidates should possess an engineering degree or technician qualification in Civil, Sewer, or Pipeline construction, coupled with initial professional experience, including leading project teams.
