Job Summary
This role involves the expert management and supervision of both municipally funded and proprietary fiber optic network expansion projects within the Mülheim an der Ruhr city area. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing construction sites, ensuring projects adhere to deadlines, quality standards, quantity requirements, and economic viability. Key daily tasks include contributing to the creation of service specifications, participating in contract awards, and reviewing implementation plans for constructability. A crucial aspect of the job is ensuring seamless cooperation between authorities, engineering firms, contractors, and customers, managing regulatory compliance, and handling change requests. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Underground Construction focus) or is a certified Construction Technician and brings 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in cable line underground construction and passive fiber optic technology knowledge.
