Job Summary

This full-time role as a Control Systems Engineer in Herten involves crucial responsibilities in planning, implementing, and optimizing industrial control technology systems. Key daily tasks include the maintenance, operation, and monitoring of the Operational Technology (OT) network and bus systems, along with executing patch management for all OT systems. Furthermore, the engineer will analyze and document operational faults, deriving measures to enhance system availability, security, and economic efficiency, and develop training materials for the E/MSR team. Candidates must hold a degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering, possess the qualification of a Responsible Electrical Specialist, and demonstrate multi-year professional experience, ideally within the power plant or chemical industries.
