Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards for critical components used in civil and military aviation technology. The Quality Inspector's primary responsibilities include conducting detailed ultrasonic testing (UT) using both immersion and contact techniques. Day-to-day tasks involve inspecting engine components for visible damage before and after processing, assessing these parts against strict Non-Destructive Testing (NDT/ZfP) guidelines, and meticulously analyzing ultrasound results, specifically A-, C-, and D-scans. Furthermore, the inspector is responsible for processing and documenting any detected deviations according to internal quality standards. Candidates should possess a relevant technical qualification, such as a Materials Tester or Industrial Mechanic background, coupled with strong German and good English skills, and a readiness for shift work. NDT certifications (UT Level 1 or 2) are highly beneficial for success in this specialized field.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training (Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, or Precision Mechanic). NDT certifications (UT Level 1 or 2) are advantageous.
Experience
- Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, Precision Mechanic, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in component inspection and quality assessment
