Job Summary
This role involves providing specialized electrical support for critical IT infrastructure within the North Rhine-Westphalia State Tax Administration, focusing primarily on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in the electrical planning, acceptance, and continuous monitoring of UPS systems and local networks, managing installed UPS units, and conducting regular electrical safety inspections (DGUV-V3). The officer will analyze and resolve technical faults, process service requests, and collaborate closely with software development and IT operations teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, possesses multi-year practical experience in relevant technical fields like energy or automation technology, and is comfortable with travel within the assigned region (Münsterland/Ruhrgebiet/Sauerland/Siegerland). Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences, Bachelor's, or Diploma degree related to Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skills and relevant professional experience (e.g., Master Craftsman qualification)
Experience
- Multi-year practical experience in at least two of the following areas: Energy Technology, Automation Technology, Communications Technology, Electronic Device Technology, Electrical Measurement and Control Technology, Technical Informatics, Theoretical Electrical Engineering, or Working under Voltage on Electrical Systems (AuS)
- Professional experience in technical support or service request processing
- Experience working in agile teams (Desirable)
