Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Power Electronics Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge projects, specifically focusing on electrical power distribution systems aboard ships. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, design, and implementation of shipboard electrical energy distribution networks. The engineer will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning power electronics components, developing and maintaining electrical interfaces between complex systems, and generating and analyzing energy balances. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering and fundamental knowledge of power electronics and energy technology. The ideal candidate will also have experience integrating electrical system interfaces and proficiency with specialized documentation and planning tools like EPLAN and ETAP.
