Job Summary
This role involves taking central responsibility for IT support within the University Computing Center, serving approximately 12,000 students, 300 professors, and 1,150 staff/external lecturers. The specialist will primarily handle, evaluate, process, and escalate support inquiries, ensuring professional error management and continuous self-improvement. Key responsibilities include managing and developing the central ticket system, maintaining the user database, implementing IT security guidelines, and setting up and managing IT workstations. The position requires a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or equivalent experience, coupled with strong communication skills and a structured, quality-conscious approach to work.
