Job Summary

This role is ideal for a highly motivated Master’s student focusing on Electrical Engineering or related fields who wishes to specialize in functional safety analysis. The core responsibilities involve ensuring product requirements, particularly safety standards like ISO 26262, are rigorously fulfilled. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing complex functional safety analysis documents such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEDA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Diagnostic Fault Analysis (DFA), and HAZOP. The successful candidate will verify hardware architectural metrics calculations (e.g., SN29500), consolidate technical results into structured documentation, and create detailed customer reports and safety manuals. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in English, offering crucial exposure to critical safety engineering processes within the electrical and electronics industry.

Required Skills

Education

Master Studies in Engineering in Electrical Energy & Mobility or similar.

Experience

  • Professional experience in analyzing and verifying functional safety requirements according to standards like ISO 26262
  • Familiarity with safety analysis methodologies including FMEDA, FTA, and HAZOP
  • Experience in calculating and verifying failure rates and hardware architectural metrics
  • Experience in creating structured technical documentation, customer reports, and safety manuals
