This role supports a leading global pharmaceutical company specializing in animal health products at their advanced production site in Krems an der Donau. The specialist will be instrumental in driving continuous process improvement and implementation, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring strict compliance with GMP standards. Core responsibilities include managing deviations, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and handling change control processes. You will also be responsible for updating critical documentation (SOPs, manufacturing records), implementing new technologies, and supporting data-driven decision-making, often utilizing ERP systems like SAP. Key qualifications include a degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Process Engineering, coupled with professional experience in GMP manufacturing of sterile forms or biologics, or relevant experience in the chemical or food industry. This position offers the chance to work with modern manufacturing technologies in a safety-conscious and collaborative environment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Engineering Degree in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, (Bio)Chemistry, (Micro)Biology, or comparable fields.

Experience

  • Professional experience in GMP manufacturing of sterile dosage forms or biologics
  • Professional experience in the food or chemical industry
  • Experience with problem-solving in a production environment
