Job Summary

This role is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to ensure the continuous, high-availability operation of a complex enterprise server infrastructure, with a primary focus on Linux systems and modern container platforms. Key responsibilities involve the optimization and continuous development of the Linux server environment and container infrastructure, specifically utilizing Red Hat OpenShift. The engineer will also be tasked with administering Oracle database systems, driving the implementation of new technologies, and leading various IT projects. Furthermore, the position requires providing critical Third-Level Support, managing escalation cases within the IT organization, and participating in mandatory on-call duty to maintain service uptime. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Informatics or a related field and several years of professional experience as an IT Administrator, ideally gained within a large corporate setting. Strong communication skills in both German and English are essential for success in this demanding and rewarding permanent position.
