This role involves ensuring the effective delivery of the Service portfolio for ABB's globally utilized Gearless Mill Drive (GMD) systems, focusing on technical support and maximizing customer satisfaction. The specialist will handle remote and on-site service activities, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofit engineering. A key aspect is proactive customer relationship management, investigating needs through professional consulting, and acting as a 24/7 support line approximately one week every two months. Candidates should possess a collaborative, solution-focused approach, leveraging a background in electrical engineering or power electronics. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, Product Specialist, or similar technical role.
- Professional experience within the power electronics sector (preferred).
- Experience providing technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers.
- Experience managing customer relationships and maintaining regular contact with key customers.

- Requires on-site assignments up to 40% of the time. Must be available to act as a 24/7 support line for one complete week, approximately every two months. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
