Job Summary

This role offers an entry opportunity as a Laboratory Technician at Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, initially through temporary employment with the goal of permanent takeover. The core focus is on the cultivation of cell cultures using lab-scale methods, including spinner flasks and shake flasks, and supporting the preparation of culture media. Daily responsibilities involve comprehensive laboratory preparation, coordination of tasks, and precise handling of samples, including withdrawal, measurement, and inoculation. The technician will also be responsible for operating automation recipes and ensuring strict adherence to GMP-compliant documentation within manufacturing protocols. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as a Biology or Chemistry Laboratory Technician, or a qualification in Food Technology or Pharmacy, coupled with practical experience in cell culture techniques. The position requires readiness to work in a cleanroom environment and includes shifts on weekends and holidays, necessitating excellent written and spoken German skills.
